You Want to Know How a Country Dies? Look at New York. It’s Happening Right Now
An analysis of what it really means to elect a Muslim/Socialist/Communist as Mayor of New York.
Let me just say it. Loud and clear. New York has officially lost its damn mind.
The Democrats just handed the steering wheel to a man named Zohran Mamdani a self-proclaimed Muslim Socialist, Somehow we’re supposed to pretend this is a step forward? Call me crazy, but if you set your house on fire and then applaud the flames, I’m gonna ask what the hell is in your drinking water.
Let’s take a stroll through this clown parade of policy proposals, shall we?
Freeze rent for millions of people. Great. Nothing screams “fix the housing crisis” like making sure landlords have zero incentive to maintain properties or build new ones. If you liked Soviet apartment blocks in the 80s, you’re gonna love Bronx-style gulags with a fresh coat of lead paint.
City-owned grocery stores. Because nothing says "efficiency" like putting government in charge of milk and eggs. Last time I checked, New York couldn’t even get the DMV to run on time, but sure, let’s hand them the entire food supply. Did nobody watch how this turned out in Moscow? Spoiler: people weren’t exactly rolling in avocados.
Declare NYC a "gay sanctuary city." At this point, can we just agree that the virtue signaling Olympics have officially replaced the actual governance? How about we fix the subways before we try to fix the universe?
$30 minimum wage. Because when inflation punches you in the face, the answer is to double down and give it a baseball bat. Small businesses are already clinging to life, but hey, what’s a few thousand more closures for the greater good of ideological purity?
NYPD not allowed to cooperate with ICE. Cool. So now we’re a sanctuary for criminals too. Fantastic. Nothing says safety like shackling your own police force while cartels roll out the welcome mat.
And then there’s the part no one wants to say out loud.
This guy has a documented history of antisemitism. He dances around questions like "Does Israel have the right to exist?" like he’s auditioning for Cirque du Soleil. He’s out here whitewashing “Intifada” and preaching slogans like "from the river to the sea" — phrases that are not-so-subtle calls for the annihilation of Jews. But sure, let’s pretend he’s just misunderstood.
This is the same city with the largest Jewish population in the country. So someone explain to me: what the hell are we doing?
Oh, and here’s the cherry on top. A new survey says 60 percent of 18-34 year olds ranked Mamdani first. Cuomo? Ten percent. Let that marinate. The guy who wants to turn Manhattan into Havana gets six times the support of a known establishment Democrat. This isn’t progress. It’s indoctrination.
Kids today can tell you what pronouns to use and which TikTok trend to follow, but they couldn’t point to the Capitol on a map if you slapped a "Free iPad" sticker on it. They’re spoon-fed radical nonsense from kindergarten to college. And we act shocked when they vote like they’ve never read a book with an actual plot?
Socialism has never worked. Never. Not once. Look around. Every country that tried it either collapsed into ruin or had to bribe its own citizens with toilet paper and blackout days just to keep the lights on. Yet somehow we’ve convinced an entire generation that free stuff equals freedom.
It doesn’t. It equals control. And destruction.
You start letting identity politics run your city, you end up Balkanized. Literally. That’s where the term comes from. A fractured mess of loyalty groups, each demanding power, none giving a damn about the nation holding them together.
I’m telling you now this isn’t just about Mamdani. It’s about what we’re becoming. We are a nation rotting from the head down. Our schools teach ideology, not facts. Our leaders chase headlines, not results. And our citizens? Most don’t even know what’s happening until it punches them in the wallet or burns down their street.
Time to wake the hell up. Educate our kids. Re-educate our neighbors. And start saying no, loudly to the lunacy crawling in through every institution.
Because if we don’t, we’re not just going to lose New York.
We’re going to lose the whole damn country.
Yes, that's right: LOSE THE COUNTRY!
Well said. My Jewish friends in New York are scared. I'm scared. I live in Philadelphia which is better and mostly run by incompetents vs. obvious antisemites, but my neighborhood thinks it's cool to write "Abolish Israel" on walls and carve "Hamas" into the concrete. I'd love to move but that takes money I don't currently have - I have an incredibly good deal thanks to a family owned house that works hard to keep good people who pay the rent and clean our houses. I've seen for my own eyes in the public schools how kids are not educated at all. To the extent to which there is education it's a lot of 1619 project stuff, but for the most part, the kids just fight or sleep and can't read and write. Tax dollars at work! The whole country is going to hell if we don't reverse this, but at least a lot of us are trying to change direction. Thank you for your post!
spot on!
